Equipment overview
This water treatment plan is specially designed for your company's semiconductor cleaning water project. The system's ultrapure water production water scale is 500L/H. Quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, antiscalant device and security filter are pretreatment equipment to ensure the normal operation of the subsequent system; two-stage reverse osmosis (RO) device removes most of the electrolytes in water for desalination equipment; EDI device removes RO Residual salt in the water, double polishing mixed bed to further remove the salt in the water, so that the produced water meets the requirements of your company's production water. The RO control device of this system adopts PLC automatic control, and the pretreatment adopts automatic control valve automatic forward and reverse washing operation.

Equipment composition and process flow description
1,This system mainly consists of the following parts:
1),Pretreatment unit: quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, water softener device, security filter, etc.
2),Reverse osmosis unit: high pressure pump, two-stage RO reverse osmosis system, first-level pure water tank, second-level pure water tank, PH regulator, etc.
3),EDI and water supply unit: EDI device, EDI water tank, variable frequency water supply pump, TOC remover, 0.22µm membrane filter, deoxygenation membrane system, double polishing mixed bed, 0.1µm membrane filter, 0.44µm membrane filter, etc.
4),Electric control and instrumentation unit: It is mainly composed of electrical control cabinet, instrument display panel, online water quality detection display, PLC logic control, etc.
2,Process flow and description:
1. System description: The system adopts PLC automatic control. The equipment is equipped with measuring instruments, which can intuitively display the pressure and flow at all levels. PLC is used to control the operation of the equipment, and there are fault protection and alarms such as overload, overpressure and water shortage. The pretreatment adopts automatic control valve for backwash operation.
2. Overview of the main configuration of the device
a) Remove suspended solids and colloids in raw water (quartz sand filter)
b) The quartz sand filter is used to remove the suspended solids and colloids in the raw water, so that the effluent SDI<4 meets the RO inlet water requirements. The system is equipped with a vertical FRP filter with a specification of Φ350, the filter is filled with quartz sand, and the filling height of the filter material is not less than 800mm. The total water production is 1T/h, and it is equipped with an automatic control valve, which automatically realizes backwashing and directly discharges the suspended solids and colloids in the quartz sand as waste water; b) Removal of residual chlorine in raw water (activated carbon filter)
To prevent the reverse osmosis membrane from being polluted. Absorb organic matter in raw water. The activated carbon filter is filled with refined shell-type activated carbon, which is used to adsorb residual chlorine, organic matter, some pigments and harmful substances in the raw water, and reduce the chemical oxygen consumption COD. The system is equipped with a Φ350 vertical FRP filter, the filter is filled with activated carbon, the height of the activated carbon is 800mm, the height of the quartz sand cushion at the bottom is 200mm, the total water production is 1T/h, and an automatic control valve is configured to automatically realize backwashing. The suspended solids and colloids are directly discharged in the wastewater;
c) Reduce the hardness of raw water (water softener)
d) Due to the high hardness of the local water, to prevent the reverse osmosis membrane from scaling for a long time, it is equipped with a set of softening water device. In order to protect the reverse osmosis membrane, ensure its water quality and water quality, and prolong its life. The system is equipped with a Φ350 vertical glass fiber reinforced plastic filter, the resin is softened in the filter, the resin filling height is 800mm, the total water production is 1T/h, and an automatic control valve is configured to realize automatic backwashing and regeneration after running for a period of time.
e) Removal of particles in the pretreatment pipeline (security filter) In order to prevent the particles in the water and pipelines from entering the high-pressure pump and RO membrane module, a special security filter is set up as the final pretreatment method. A security filter is installed in front of the reverse osmosis device. The security filter is equipped with a polypropylene PP core of 20*5μ*3, and the output is 1T/h. Under normal working conditions, the filter can be maintained for about half a month. When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter is greater than 0.1Mpa, the filter element needs to be replaced (because the filtered medium directly enters the gap of the microporous filter membrane, it is difficult to pass acid and alkali. Cleaning restores flux). The filter structure can meet the requirements of quick replacement of the filter element.
f) Set the reverse osmosis membrane separation driving force (high pressure pump)
The driving force of the reverse osmosis membrane separation is the pressure difference, and this pressure is provided by the high-pressure pump, so the high-pressure pump is set to make the reverse osmosis influent water reach a certain pressure, so that the reverse osmosis process can be carried out. That is, to overcome the osmotic pressure to make the water molecules pass through the reverse osmosis membrane to the fresh water layer.
g) Removal of salts, bacteria, impurities, colloids and large molecular weight organics (reverse osmosis system)
